Following the 2014 Volume 1 devoted to “Fundamentals” and the 2015 Volume 2 on “The Social System of Foundations,” the third and final volume of the work addresses the impact of pre-modern foundations on Christian, Moslem, and Indian societies and on Jewish communities. The essays examine differences in the gender of the participants, geographical distribution, critiques of foundations, and intercultural imitations.
