On May, 8th and 9th, 2013, the first World Symposium for Researchers in Diving took place in Leipzig, Ger-many. This book contains all lectures and presentations of the participants in a form of scientific papers. Current diving reserach is presented here from different perspectives, e. g. as an analysis of published papers, from biomechnical view, from a sports-medicine perspective, and in a sportpsychological framework.
