The anthology bundles the findings on the concept of sustainability and its effects in work, occupation and education. Current results of various initiatives, approaches and measures of company and school educational institutions are presented. At the level of the labour market, the changes in occupational requirements, competences and activities and their effects on employment and the world of work are described. At the level of the places of learning, the focus is on the integration of sustainability into company (training) practice, the role of vocational didactics and the professionalisation of training staff in companies and training institutions. Finally, at the level of vocational education and training, the focus is on training occupations and curricula as well as the linking of sustainability-related competency models with the means of regulation.
