This two volume book, comprising approximately 1500 pages, contains contributions from many petroleum geologists working in companies or institutions on all continents of the world. The second part describes Africa, America, Australia, Antarctica and several countries in the Indian and Pacific Ocean. Description of most of the world was conducted on a county to country basis. A voluminous index enables the reader to easily find basins, geologically important localities, formations, oil and gas fields and other petroleum-relevant features.
