»Nonverbal Behavior in Criminal Procedure«: The dissertation examines the justiciability of nonverbal communication in the criminal trial. The article concludes that these partially involuntary reactions - counterintuitive to ones »first sense of justice« - are fully justiciable. Both in the case of accidental occurrence as well as in case of deliberate provocation, and this holds also to the detriment of the silent defendant.
