The 16th International Workshop on Beryllium Technology (BeWS-16) took place on 19–20 October 2023 in Santander, Spain, alongside ICFRM-21. Organized by “Leading” in Cantabria with support from KIT, the hybrid event gathered ~50 participants from academia, research, and industry. The program covered beryllium fabrication, recycling, FLiBe, irradiation damage, modeling, and safety. Awards were presented, and BeWS-17 is planned for autumn 2025 in Japan.
