This guidebook has been written for travellers and pilgrims intending to visit some of the 88 temples of the Shikoku pilgrimage or even walk, cycle or travel the entire pilgrimage. It covers the second part of the pilgrimage: The 395 km pilgrimage in Kochi Prefecture from Temple 24 to Temple 39. In addition to the history of the temples, it describes in detail the routes between the temples and provides additional information on how to organise the pilgrimage and adds cultural and historic background. This is the second of four guidebooks covering the entire pilgrimage, there is a guidebook available each prefecture.
