Hip-Hop is the soundtrack of Black Lives Matter protests, evident in scenes where songs from the genre are played and sung throughout the protests. Max Tretter adopts an interdisciplinary approach to create a framework for precisely assessing the impact of such aesthetic expressions in public and for taking grounded normative positions on them.
