This textbook provides an introduction to non-mainstream, “heterodox” schools of economic thought and policy. It considers micro- and macroeconomic analyses as well as analyses native to ordo-liberalism (including economic democracy). Europe and the European Union’s economic policy are a major focus of the textbook.
