Hate speech is something dealt with by both linguistics and law. Both subjects are interested in the interpretation of potentially criminal utterances. However, this intersection has been long overlooked. This volume brings together complementary expertise from linguistics and law, laying the groundwork for a linguistic and legal foundation and framework for the interpretation of hate speech.
